Unarmed Security Officer Flexible Schedule Weekends Part Time
About The Position
Join the team at Cambridge Security Services, Florida's most respected security firm, as a Security Officer. We protect prestigious properties and schools and are looking for dedicated individuals to ensure client safety and security. This role involves working different shifts, guaranteed 24 to 32 hours a week, for a gate or patrol officer in a private community, with one guaranteed shift on Saturdays from 4:30 am to 1:00 pm. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A current D security officer license issued by the State of Florida, Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
- Successful completion of a mental health assessment.
- Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.
- Flexibility to work various schedules.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to successfully complete all required training.
- Proficiency in operating radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
- Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
- If prior military, the ability to provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated.

Responsibilities
- Conducting armed foot and/or vehicle patrols, both indoors and outdoors.
- Controlling access and egress points to maintain a secure environment.
- Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems.
- Documenting incidents and preparing detailed reports.
- Deterring criminal activity and misconduct.
- Fulfilling other duties as outlined in post orders.
