About The Position

As a Security Officer Healthcare Rover in Englewood, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidance, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
  • Monitor entrances, waiting areas, and other assigned locations, assisting with directions, visitor screening procedures, and support during high-traffic periods or urgent events.
