As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a medical technology and manufacturing location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
