About The Position

Sunstates Security is seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Security Officer to join our team in the Boca Raton, FL area. This position is assigned to a private school campus, where dependability, professionalism, and consistency are essential. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Requirements

Current and active Florida Class D Security License
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Check
Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
Must be available to work weekends
High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Prior school security experience preferred

Responsibilities

Maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors
Conducting routine patrols of the property
Monitoring and controlling gatehouse access
Responding to incidents and emergencies in a professional manner
Completing accurate reports and documentation
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive interactions with staff, students, and visitors
Working effectively in a fast-paced environment
