As a Security Officer Patrol Access Monitor in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access activity, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and contribute to a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity every day.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and/or first responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted access points, parking areas, and/or the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or access points, verify credentials when required, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support orderly operations by assisting with directions, observing foot and vehicle traffic, and documenting security-related incidents and/or daily activities in required reports.
