As a Security Officer Full Time Access Point Operations in Denver, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to store personnel, vendors, delivery drivers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vendor entry, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, receiving areas, sales floors, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and unusual activity.
- Maintain accurate access-control logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
