Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Response
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a financial institution location in Tempe, Arizona. The role serves and safeguards clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal’s driver policy. The officer supports employees, visitors, and vendors; responds to incidents and alarms; monitors access and visitor activity; and documents patrols and other security-related activity in accordance with site and company requirements. The scheduled shifts are Monday through Thursday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Pay is $20.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeters.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures.
- Report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs accurately.
