Security Officer Full Time Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The officer serves and safeguards clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting access control and alarm response activities. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located. The role involves providing customer service, communicating clearly, and working with integrity as part of a reliable team. Pay is $18.30 per hour. The stated schedule is Monday through Thursday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing requirements may apply before employment. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
- Support access control and alarm response activities.
