About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Antioch, Tennessee, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. The role also involves delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, contractors, and commercial drivers; verify credentials and maintain visitor and vehicle entry records in accordance with site policies.
• Control access to freight yards, docks, trailers, and restricted areas; help deter unauthorized entry and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents and critical situations, including access-related issues, alarm activations, and vehicle or pedestrian traffic concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, loading docks, trailer parking areas, and perimeter; report unusual conditions and potential hazards.
