As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Assistance in South Bend, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, team-focused culture. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building exteriors, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain patrol documentation, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
