About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a logistics and distribution facility in Aurora, Colorado. The position provides a designated site and fixed weekly anchor shift, requiring a six-month commitment. The officer may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of as much as 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. The listed schedule is Monday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Pay is $21.72 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Verify authorized access for personnel, delivery drivers, contractors, and visitors; check credentials and/or shipping-related documentation according to site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and restricted areas; help deter unauthorized access and report irregular activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the business perimeter.
