About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Driver in Houston, Texas, to serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter incidents, support access control, and provide customer service in a collaborative, team-focused environment. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and pays $13.50 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, business offices, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
Communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
