About The Position

As a Security Officer Personnel Screening in Tracy, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by monitoring access, screening personnel and visitors, and reporting security-related concerns. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with established access-control and visitor-management procedures.
• Verify credentials, maintain accurate visitor and screening records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate receiving, shipping, or facility locations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated logistics and distribution areas, entry points, receiving docks, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
