About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a caring, reliable team at Allied Universal with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers in accordance with site requirements.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and daily activity records, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
