As a Security Officer Driving Role Screener in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access, screen people and/or materials, and support security-related operations through visible presence, routine activity, and strong communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and security-related policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around receiving, shipping, warehouse, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain accurate logs of screening activity, visitor access, and/or incident information as required by the location.
