As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Inspection Patrol in Naples, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a government location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will respond to incidents, communicate professionally with the public and public-service personnel, and contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
  • Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify identification and/or credentials; and document visitor access in accordance with established procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with emergency responders and authorized personnel as needed.
  • Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
