As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, facility entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and document incidents in accordance with site requirements.
  • Support a professional work environment by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders as needed.
