Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
Assist with maintaining an orderly retail environment by providing a visible presence and communicating professionally with customers, visitors, and employees.
