About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Experienced Patrol Driver to support a government retirement services location in Mobile, Alabama. The officer conducts routine patrols and maintains a visible presence to deter security-related incidents while providing customer service and communicating professionally. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. The position is scheduled Saturdays from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at a pay rate of $18.03 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow site procedures, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, offices, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security-related incidents to Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives.
