Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Operations
About The Position
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Operations in De Soto, Kansas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology-focused location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide customer service to employees and visitors. This driving position involves professional communication and helping maintain a welcoming environment. The role is full-time and pays $22.28 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
Nice To Haves

- Comfort using a computer or tablet.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific policies, and report unusual conditions and access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
- Maintain a professional presence to help deter unauthorized activity at a technology-focused corporate location.
