About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – On Call in Appleton, Wisconsin, for an assigned aerospace and defense location. The role provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift, requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. The position is intended for part-time work with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

The listed schedule is Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Duties include customer service, unarmed patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and reporting.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, hangars, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report access-control concerns or suspicious activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations professionally, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
