About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Olympia, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, building perimeters, parking areas, and access points to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders while following site-specific escalation and reporting protocols.
