As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and potential hazards.
Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity or unauthorized persons to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site-specific protocols and contacting emergency services when needed.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, documenting observations, incidents, patrols, and interactions in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
