About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Pharmaceutical Building in Rockville, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a life sciences location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of laboratory, office, manufacturing, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, access concerns, or maintenance issues.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
