As a Security Officer - Full Time - Mornings in Moline, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and a people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document entries, incidents, and patrol observations.
  • Support a professional workplace environment by following Allied Universal and client site policies, reporting security-related concerns, and maintaining accurate records.
