About The Position

As a Security Officer X Ray Badge Processing in Indianapolis, Indiana, you will serve and safeguard clients in logistics and distribution settings. You will help maintain a secure environment by screening people, packages, and materials, monitoring access points, and using technology to identify potential concerns. The role also involves providing customer service and helping deter incidents through clear communication and a professional presence. This is a full-time position paying $17.22 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Screen employees, visitors, deliveries, and authorized items entering designated logistics and distribution areas in accordance with site procedures.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, documentation, and entry authorization for personnel and vehicles.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated business areas and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
