About The Position

Securitas is looking for a full-time Security Officer to join their team in Rockleigh, NJ. This role involves monitoring and controlling the facility, maintaining logs of security incidents, and ensuring confidentiality and professionalism. The officer will also be responsible for greeting and assisting visitors in a professional and courteous manner. The position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Requirements

• Valid SORA license or willing to obtain
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR
• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must be reliable, self-motivated, and flexible
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone).
• Must have a reliable means of transportation with a clean driving record
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control facility during the daily tours
• Maintain a daily log of security incidents.
• Always maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
