About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Corporate Building in Boston MA. Wednesday, Thursday. Friday and Sunday 11 PM - 7 AM. Starting Pay is $22.15 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training. As a Security Officer in South Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations through clear communication, integrity, teamwork, and a reliable, agile approach that helps create a welcoming environment for tenants, guests, and staff.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support access control procedures, and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Support daily operations at a commercial property by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and/or incidents through established channels.
