About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for patrol at a dynamic entertainment and retail location in Reno, Nevada. The officer will safeguard guests, employees, vendors, and the site by maintaining a visible presence, conducting regular and random patrols, monitoring access points, and supporting access control. The position involves customer service, incident response, observing and reporting security concerns, and accurately documenting patrols and incidents. The schedule is Friday and Saturday from 6:15 PM to 2:15 AM. The pay rate is $22.15 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, guest concerns, disturbances, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Accurately document incidents, patrols, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
