As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while contributing to a welcoming environment. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Support emergency response activities and maintain accurate logs, incident documentation, and shift reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
