About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to serve at an aerospace and defense location in West Chester, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard personnel, visitors, contractors, and the site by maintaining a visible security presence, conducting foot and vehicle patrols, monitoring access, and responding to incidents. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, reliable reporting, and a caring, integrity-driven team culture. Employees can use the company’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. The pay rate is $25.46 per hour, paid weekly. The listed schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify credentials according to site procedures; report access-control concerns and suspicious activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation.
Communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
