About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Retail Site in Somerville MA. Sundays 11 AM - 6 PM (With Option to Pick up More Shifts). Starting Pay is $20.30 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training. Life doesn’t always follow a fixed schedule. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions.
Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, loading areas, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas while assisting with visitor directions, credential checks, and/or general questions in a professional manner.
Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing for suspicious behavior, reporting concerns, and following post orders related to merchandise, property, and facility access.
