About The Position

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Medical Company in Boston MA. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients in healthcare settings. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with excellent customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify security-related concerns and policy violations.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized activity in restricted or sensitive areas.
Support a professional environment by assisting with de-escalation, providing directions and information, and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders during medical or facility-related incidents.
