About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Patrol Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution in Jacksonville, Florida. The officer will conduct armed patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible security presence, and respond to security-related concerns while providing customer service and clear communication in a professional environment. The schedule is Monday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, members, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established financial institution procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and required documentation in accordance with company and site-specific requirements.
