As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally, document observations using a computer or tablet when needed, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential community buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift.
