As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally, document observations using a computer or tablet when needed, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential community buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift.
