About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer – Driver in Baltimore, Maryland. This tactical security role involves patrolling sensitive areas, monitoring for suspicious activity, controlling access to secure areas, and responding to alarms, threats, or incidents. Officers help protect people and property and may collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents. The position is full-time, with a stated schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday through Tuesday, for 32 hours per week; flexible scheduling is also available. The hourly wage is $18.54. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have prior security experience.
• Have a valid security license or be able to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
