About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Los Angeles, California, to serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. The officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible security presence, helps identify and report unusual activity, and provides customer service and professional communication. The role follows site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at a pay rate of $23.02 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, access points, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership about security concerns and operational needs.
