About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a driving post at an aerospace and defense location in Elk River, Minnesota. The officer will help safeguard the site through routine patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and customer service. The role is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and pays $26.01 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Any required licensing must comply with applicable state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
Monitor for unusual conditions, potential hazards, and unauthorized access, and report observations using required communication and documentation procedures.
Support access control by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors, and escalating access concerns to appropriate site personnel.
