About The Position

KRE Security is hiring full-time and part-time Security Officers for a client in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, which provides important services to an underserved population. Officers work closely with the client’s staff to maintain a safe, secure, and supportive environment. The role emphasizes exterior patrols, observation, communication, teamwork, empathy, and professionalism, including when handling difficult or unpredictable situations.

The full-time third-shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. Part-time second- or third-shift schedules are available Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM or 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. The listed pay rate is $18.50 per hour. Employees must be willing to obtain the site's required Phazzer non-lethal CEW certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular exterior patrols of the property, grounds, parking areas, and designated areas.
• Maintain a visible security presence.
• Work in pairs as required by site procedures.
• Support the client's staff during challenging or difficult situations.
• Respond appropriately to disturbances, security concerns, and other incidents.
• Observe and report unusual or potentially unsafe activity.
• Help maintain a safe environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
• Communicate clearly with client personnel and the security team.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Follow site-specific post orders, procedures, and client requirements.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications and clearances.
