As a Security Officer Full Time Afternoon Logistic Center in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, and other designated locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and support visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.
