As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transit location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and support riders, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces while documenting observations, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Support crowd management, directional assistance, and public interaction during routine operations, service disruptions, and/or special events at the location.
