About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer with an active clearance to support an aerospace and defense location in Saint Louis, Missouri. The officer will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, responding to security concerns, and providing customer service and communication. The position pays $21.53 per hour and requires at least 30 hours of work per week. The schedule has not yet been assigned and will be determined based on business needs during hiring, onboarding, and training.

Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements depend on applicable state and local regulations. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports, logs, and documentation accurately and promptly according to site procedures.
