About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer - Call Center in Mesa, Arizona, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The unarmed officer helps safeguard the site by providing customer service, conducting patrols, monitoring access points, responding to alarms and incidents, and accurately documenting security-related observations. The position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and pays $19.38 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and security protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations according to established emergency response procedures.
Accurately document patrol observations, incidents, and security concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
