You will conduct routine patrols, monitor activity, respond to security-related concerns, assist with sensitive areas and situations, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, as applicable to the location.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
