As a Security Officer Morning Pharmaceutical Company Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and personnel while using technology to document activities and report concerns. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office areas, building entrances, parking areas, common spaces, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
