Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, visitor processing, and other security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, check credentials and/or identification, maintain visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to offices, lobbies, data-sensitive areas, and other restricted spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing doors, gates, loading areas, parking locations, and other access points for unusual activity or security-related issues.
• Support day-to-day access control operations by assisting with deliveries, directing guests, reporting maintenance or badge system concerns, and following Allied Universal post orders and emergency response activities when appropriate.
