As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Professional at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, entrances, parking areas, and restricted-access locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate site personnel.
  • Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
