As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a transportation facility.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of station areas, platforms, entrances, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe passenger and visitor activity, reporting suspicious behavior, unattended property, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site personnel, dispatch, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, patrol activity, and security-related concerns.
