As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a transportation facility.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of station areas, platforms, entrances, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and observe passenger and visitor activity, reporting suspicious behavior, unattended property, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site personnel, dispatch, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, patrol activity, and security-related concerns.
