As a Security Officer Train Station Unarmed in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and interactions in required reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
