About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Driver in Annapolis, Maryland. The position provides a dependable assigned-site schedule with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The fixed weekly assignment requires a six-month commitment, and additional shifts may be available at multiple sites. Employees can increase their hours up to 40 hours per week or scale back as needed.

The scheduled shifts are Tuesday and Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. Working conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• A guard card or license.
• Customer service experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
